Extra activities and Compatibility

PhD students enrolled in a doctoral programme are required to attend on a full-time basis, in accordance with both Italian national legislation and UNIFI regulations.

If a PhD student intends to undertake additional activities concurrently with the doctoral programme, prior authorisation for compatibility must be requested from the Academic Council.

Please download the compatibility request form and contact dott-dicea(at)unifi.it to obtain information on the next meeting of the Academic Council. The request must be submitted well in advance and, in any case, before the commencement of the proposed activity.

Please note that the form must also be signed by the PhD student’s supervisor.
